In a recent post on X, industrialist Anand Mahindra stirred intrigue by sharing an image of Kash Patel, accompanied by a caption that read: “Kash Patel, new Director of the FBI. Doesn’t look like you can mess with this guy. Mind it.” This cryptic remark left social media buzzing, with many speculating about Mahindra’s intentions.

One particularly bold X user, Harshit, seized the opportunity to make a request, commenting: “Inko bhi Thar gift kar do sir (Gift him a Thar too, sir).” Known for his characteristic wit, Mahindra responded in his signature style: “Hmmm. Thar ke layak toh lagta hai ye shaks (Hmm. This man does seem worthy of a Thar).”

This exchange immediately sparked curiosity, as Mahindra has been known to bestow vehicles upon individuals whose achievements he finds inspiring. Previously, he had gifted a Mahindra Scorpio-N to Sheetal Devi, India’s first armless archer, and a Thar to Naushad Khan, father of India cricketer Sarfaraz Khan.

Meanwhile, Kash Patel formally assumed office as the ninth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on Saturday, solidifying his position with a solemn oath-taking ceremony. Marking a significant moment, Patel swore his oath with his hand placed upon the Bhagavad Gita—a symbolic gesture underscoring his heritage.

The ceremony, presided over by US Attorney General Pam Bondi, took place in the historic Indian Treaty Room at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), located within the White House complex in Washington.
